On Friday evening, December 15th, there was a surprise appearance by Miranda Lambert at Lainey Wilson’s sold-out performance in Las Vegas. The show took place at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, as part of Wilson’s four-show stint presented by Wrangler, coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) happening in the city from December 7th to December 16th.
Lambert’s Fiery Performance of “Kerosene” Rocks the Stage!
During Lainey Wilson’s headlining set, the crowd was shocked when Miranda Lambert joined her on stage to perform “Kerosene,” a hit song from Lambert’s debut album. Donning matching all-black western outfits with bell bottoms, the country superstars took turns singing the verses of the chart-topping hit before joining forces for the fourth verse.
Introducing Lambert, Wilson said, “She’s my ride or die, she’d fight somebody for me. Y’all give it up for my girl, Miranda Lambert.” The audience erupted in cheers as they witnessed the unexpected collaboration between the two talented artists.

But the surprises didn’t end there. Wilson and Lambert also debuted a brand-new unreleased song called “Good Horses.” Wilson expressed her pride in the song and how Lambert’s influence can be heard throughout it. Co-written by Wilson, Lambert, and Luke Dick, this performance marked the live debut of the track.
The chorus of “Good Horses” showcased the beautiful harmonies of Wilson and Lambert. They sang, “I don’t need the map, I don’t need a road, I don’t need a fence, I just need to know if you want to love me, you don’t need to rope, you just need to know. Good Horses come home.” The heartfelt performance gave Lambert “chills,” as she revealed in an Instagram post.

It is still uncertain whether “Good Horses” will be released as a duet between Wilson and Lambert or if one of the country stars will release it as a solo track at a later date.
The show also featured opening performances from Pony Bradshaw and Meg McRee. Lainey Wilson is set to return to The Virgin Hotels stage for her final sold-out show in Las Vegas on Saturday evening, December 16th, with support from Colby Acuff and Harper O’Neill.
